Section Waiting List

Please be aware some of our sections are currently full and some age groups may not be able to be offered places unless we have any leavers from the group.

Current estimated wait times:

  • Beavers (6-8 yo) - 1-2 terms
  • Cubs (8-10.5 yo) - Full
  • Scouts (10.5-14 yo) - Full

To join the waiting list for 1st Burnmoor, just click the link HERE to open the form.

Our volunteers will be notified, and we will be in contact when there’s room for your child in whichever section is age appropriate. You can join the waiting list as early as you like so when your child turns 6 there's a higher chance we can get them straight into Beavers as places are offered on a first come basis.

Volunteering

With tasks shared, our Sub Teams make volunteering better for everyone – easier, faster and more rewarding.

Our Scout Group thrives because of amazing volunteers who give their time, skills, and enthusiasm to help young people grow and thrive. Now, we’re building Sub Teams to make it even easier for more people to get involved — because many hands really do make light work!

The chart above shows the range of Sub Teams and the types of tasks we need help with. From admin and fundraising to kit maintenance and community engagement, there’s a role for everyone — whether you’ve got a few hours a month or a little more to give.

Whatever your availability or experience, we’d love to have you on board.
